BIO INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION 2024
Belgian pavilion
The Walloon Export and Foreign Investment Agency (AWEX) will once again be putting together a group of companies, universities and other operators from the life sciences sector, in collaboration with BioWin at the BIO International Convention from 3 to 6 June 2024 in San Diego. As every year, the Belgian pavilion will be prepared in collaboration with Flanders Investment and Trade and Flanders Bio.
Bio Conference
Bio International Convention is a must-attend event for life sciences companies organised by the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO), the world's leading trade association for the biotechnology industry.
The 2023 edition attracted more than 1,540 exhibitors, some 20,559 participants from all over the world (73 countries) and no fewer than 57,000 partnering meetings. The Belgian delegation was one of the ten largest foreign delegations, with 105 people representing 58 companies and operators, including 30 from Wallonia.
BIO San Diego brings together in one place:
- An exhibition hall showcasing key players in the biotechnology industry and their most significant achievements;
- B2B meetings organized through BIO's online system;
- A technical conference program focused on the marketing of products and technologies in the sector;
- Various high-level networking activities.
Furthermore, our presence at BIO San Diego 2024 also represents:
- A Belgian Pavilion, bringing together a large number of companies, research organizations, professional associations, and public institutions active in the sector;
- Maximum visibility in the conference documentation;
- A launch session (Belgian Meet and Greet) before the start of the exhibition (Sunday, June 2, in the evening);
- A networking evening (Belgian Café), a relaxed and friendly networking event (Tuesday, June 4, in the evening).
